to say that Galileo is a contrarian is a gross understatement. the type that CONSTANTLY over thinks things, he can be kind of...well...a bummer. or at least pretty annoying. a self proclaimed "realist", he seems to think it's his job to shoot down the ideas and find flaws with other's plans. They might be legitimate concerns, but are usually spurious.
and yes, he pretty much always looks this bored, but at least he is an even-footed fellow that, while paying an annoying attention to detail, is still fairly well received by others due to his sensibility.
despite being fully evolved, he's still quite young and capable of the occasional terrible decision like any young adult.
